My Birthday Weekend in Hong Kong, Oct. 19-22, 2013

I've been to Hong Kong several times in the past, but this was my first time to go there on my birthday weekend. It was an easy and relaxing trip -- except for all the walking! In the four days that we were there, we had a lot of dimsum and asian food, met a new friend, shopped a little (but walked A LOT), enjoyed the sights...

And my actual birthday, Oct. 21, was spent in Hong Kong Disneyland! Whoever said the theme park is just for kids was mistaken. It was nice to feel and be a child again! I wept tears of joy as I watched the shows, most especially The Golden Mickeys show, and listened to songs which reminded me of my (and my kids') childhood. As I always enjoyed fireworks displays, I absolutely loved their show! Three days after we arrived in Manila, I was still singing Disney songs!

"When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are...
Anything your heart desires will come to you...
If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme..
Whe you wish upon a star your dreams come true..."

Doesn't matter how many times you have been to Disneyland before. Whether HK, LA, Florida -- Disneyland, the happiest place on earth, will always be magical wherever it may be!

My birthday pin. It says "Today is my Birthday"

The Castle of Sleeping Beauty. A landmark in all Disneyland theme parks.

The Golden Mickeys. This was one my favorite shows. I was in tears when it ended!

We closed the park, being one of the last ones to leave.
